大盘上的花卉纹运用了堆塑和青花、釉里红装饰，花卉形态各异，栩栩如生。釉里红涂绘枝叶和花朵，色泽艳丽，与青花相互映衬，展现出独特的艺术效果。主体纹饰为“鬼谷子下山图”，描述了孙膑的师傅鬼谷子在齐国使节苏代的再三请求下，答应下山搭救被燕国陷阵的齐国名将孙膑和独孤陈的故事。青花釉里红在中国陶瓷史中占据显要位置，相比明清官窑瓷器，元青花釉里红在市场上鲜有出现，而如此具有典型风格的立件大器更为难得，可遇而不可求。The floral patterns on the large plate are decorated with pile sculptures, blue and white, and underglaze red, with various shapes of flowers that are lifelike. The red painted branches, leaves, and flowers in the glaze are brightly colored and complement each other with blue and white, showcasing a unique artistic effect. The main decoration is "Guiguzi Descending the Mountain", which depicts the story of Sun Bin's master Guiguzi agreeing to descend the mountain to rescue the famous Qi generals Sun Bin and Dugu Chen who were captured by Yan State at the repeated request of Qi envoy Su Dai. Blue and white underglaze red occupies a prominent position in the history of Chinese ceramics. Compared with Ming and Qing official kiln porcelain, Yuan blue and white underglaze red rarely appears in the market, and such a typical style of standing piece is even more rare and hard to come by.
